Marshall to offer education credits for attorneys

HUNTINGTON - Marshall University’s Lewis College of Business and Center for Continuing Education will offer a one-day continuing education seminar for legal professionals.

The seminar will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 8, on Marshall’s Huntington campus.

Six sessions will touch on topics including consumer collections, damages valuation, probate, the legalization of marijuana, bias, ethics and professionalism.

The seminar has been submitted for approval of 7.2 CLE credits in West Virginia, and 6.0 CLE credits in Ohio and Kentucky.

Cost is $275 for the seminar and $285 for the workshop plus a printed copy of presenter slides. Discounts are available for law firms registering six or more attendees.
