Sikorsky in $200M Black Hawk deal with European nation
Lockheed Martin subsidiary Sikorsky Aircraft is selling four Black Hawk military helicopters to the government of Latvia, with the deal winning approval from Congress.
Latvia wants the aircraft for a range of missions in conjunction with U.S. and NATO forces including antiterrorism operations and medical evacuation.
Earlier this year, Latvia ordered two helicopters from Sikorsky rival Leonardo, with Latvia also having several Russian-built helicopters in its fleet.
