NORFOLK - An argument at a Norfolk apartment complex led to the arrest of one Norfolk man with an active arrest warrant Saturday morning.

According to Norfolk Police Captain Mike Bauer, officers were called the 100 block of Goldstrike Drive for a disturbance.

Upon arrival officers found several subjects in the parking lot of the apartments.

One of the subjects was identified as 32-year-old Dustin Wright.

A check of warrants showed that Wright had two active Madison County warrants so he was taken into custody.

In a subsequent search, officers recovered marijuana cigarettes as well a prescription pill identified as Adderall. Wright did not have a prescription for the controlled medication.

He was issued a citation for possession of marijuana less that one ounce, and arrested for the warrants and possession of a controlled substance.

He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.

Also, a Norfolk man was arrested on multiple charges Sunday morning.

According to Norfolk Police Captain Mike Bauer officers were called to a house in the 500 block of East Braasch Avenue.

The caller indicated that 39-year-old Darren Wolf was there and had an active Madison County arrest warrant.

When officers arrived, Wolf initially answered the door but quickly shut and locked it when he saw the officers.

He attempted to exit through a window, but again retreated inside when he saw the officers. He eventually complied with the officer’s request to exit.

Once outside, he was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant.

In a subsequent search of Wolf, officers recovered a handmade glass pipe with residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Wolf was arrested for the Madison County warrant, possession of controlled substance and obstructing a police officer.

He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
