Carbon monoxide poisoning suspected in elderly man’s death
ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Police say elevated levels of carbon monoxide may have played a role in the death of an elderly New Jersey man.
NJ.com reports Roxbury Township police are investigating the Saturday death of man who was found at his Pleasant Hill Road home. Officers responding to a report of an unconscious man found the man dead shortly after 4 p.m.
The man’s wife was taken to a hospital because she felt ill. Further details on her condition have not been disclosed.
The couple’s names have not been released pending notification of relatives.
The man’s death remains under investigation.
