PHOENIX (AP) — Two teenagers and an 18-year-old woman have been killed and three other teens injured in two-car crash in north Phoenix.

Police say the collision occurred about 12:15 a.m. Sunday near 23rd and Dunlap avenues and impairment may have been a factor.

They say a 16-year-old boy was driving an SUV when it collided with a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Nijah Chibeast.

Police say Chibeast and her 17-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three teenage boys in the SUV were taken to a hospital where a 16-year-old passenger was pronounced dead.

Police say the SUV's driver and two passengers — ages 15 and 17 — all are in critical condition.
