PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) _ Tom Glavine pitched four perfect innings and four relievers finished a one- hitter Thursday, leading the Atlanta Braves over the New York Mets 6-0.

Luis Rivera’s seventh-inning single off Mike Stanton was the Mets’ only hit. Stanton pitched two innings, and Milt Hill, Dirk Blair and Don Strange pitched one inning each. The Braves faced just one batter over the minimum.

Ryan Klesko and Dave Gallagher each had two hits and two RBIs.

Atlanta scored three runs in the third off former-Brave Pete Smith on RBI singles by Klesko, David Justice and Terry Pendleton.

Gallagher doubled in the seventh and scored on Klesko’s single. Gallagher hit a two-run double in the eighth.
