Wilma LeMay, 91, of Bradley, passed away Friday (March 15, 2019) at Momence Meadows Nursing Home in Momence.
She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in White City, Ill. Wilma married Owen LeMay on June 1, 1952. He preceded her in death May 20, 2003.
Wilma worked for Bear Brand Hosiery, then Kraft Foods until her retirement.
She enjoyed music, animals, watching “The Young and the Restless,” and most importantly, she loved being with her family and grandchildren. “Against her family’s better judgment, she was an avid Cubs fan,” her family said.
Surviving are one son, David (Dawn) LeMay, of Bourbonnais; three grandchildren, Derrick (Erica) Homan-LeMay, of Manteno, Jared (Gina) LeMay, of Bourbonnais, and Mason LeMay, of Bourbonnais; two great-grandchildren, Zander and Maddison; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, until the 7 p.m. funeral service at Schreffler Funeral Homes, Bourbonnais Chapel. Private interment will be in Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee.
