ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ A driver was arrested Tuesday on charges he struck and killed a bicyclist and drove 13 miles with the body caught in the car.

Isidro Calderon Hernandez, 26, was booked for investigation of felony hit-and-run in the death of John Lee LaBord, 18.

LaBord apparently crashed through the windshield of the car that struck him Sunday night while he was with friends. His body was found Monday morning 13 miles away and a few miles from a damaged car.

``The accident happened so quickly that nobody saw what kind of vehicle it was,'' Sgt. Joe Vargas said. ``They looked around and saw the crumpled bike and a sneaker, but not the victim.''

Police believe Hernandez may also have been involved in a hit-and-run accident May 22 in which another bicyclist was hit and suffered scrapes.
