Fire Closes UA Terminal at O’Hare
CHICAGO (AP) _ Several United Airlines flights were canceled or delayed today following an early morning fire that temporarily closed part of the airline’s terminal at O’Hare International Airport.
No injuries were reported.
The fire started beneath a moving walkway between concourses B and C about 4:30 a.m., said Monique Bond, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Department of Aviation.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
