McNeilly Road at Baldwin Twp. border opens after 6 months of work
A section of McNeilly Road at the border between Pittsburgh and Baldwin Township has reopened after completion of a nearly six-month long bridge rehabilitation project, according to the Allegheny County Department of Public Works.
McNeilly Road at Saw Mill Run Bridge No. 9, which is located adjacent to the intersection with Library Road, was closed May 14 for a project that included concrete repairs to the underside of the bridge’s arch, the addition of a wider bridge deck, new barriers along the approaches, widening of the intersection with Library Road and milling and paving the roadway approaching the bridge.
