Mass. boy found safe in Conn.; father arrested
NORTH BROOKFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A North Brookfield man is facing charges after his 21-month-old son went missing for a time.
The Worcester District Attorney’s office says Ryan Woods took off with the boy, Thomas Woods, during a regular visitation on Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Ryan Woods later brought his son to a hospital in Milford, Conn, at about the time an Amber Alert was issued.
The child was unharmed and was being reunited with his mother.
Woods was arrested by Milford police on a fugitive from justice charge. Massachusetts authorities say they expect him to be returned to Massachusetts to face charges of reckless endangerment of a child and larceny of a motor vehicle.
It was not immediately known if Woods had an attorney.
