Homeless woman arrested on multiple charges
NORFOLK - A homeless woman was arrested Tuesday night when Norfolk Police officers were investigating an assault that occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Braasch Avenue.
According to Captain Mike Bauer, during the search of the residence, officers located the woman hiding in a closet.
She verbally identified herself, but a check of her license and DMV photo proved that she had provided a false name.
In further questioning, she was identified as 21-year-old Sabrina Reeves.
She was then placed under arrest for criminal impersonation.
In a subsequent search of her purse, officers recovered a syringe filled with a liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine.
She was questioned about drug usage and then arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
