Warm, blustery day ushers in Friday storm risk
Spring is in the air as warm winds are coming from the south on Thursday, meteorologist Kat Campbell said.
It’ll be blustery, with winds reaching up to 20 mph.
Highs will reach the low 70s.
Warm temperatures return Friday, but a storm system is moving in from the west. While severe weather is unlikely, the Triangle could see rain and some thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.
Those storms will bring in a cold front, and temperatures will drop into the 40s as the system moves out Friday night.
Saturday and Sunday will have high temperatures in the high 50s and lows in the mid-30s.
