PHUKET, Thailand (AP) _ Hitomi Notsu of Japan made up a three-stroke deficit and won the Kosaido Asahi Ladies Open by five strokes on Saturday with a 5-under-par 67 in the final round.
Notsu had a 54-hole score of 214, the only sub-par total in the tournament at the Phuket Country Club.
American Susan Ginter, who led the first two rounds, shot an 84 and finished seventh.
Regine Lautens of Switzerland finished second after a 71 in the final round.
Leslie Brown of the United States tied for third at 220 with Alicia Dibos of Peru and Sofia Gronberg of Sweden.
PERTH, Australia (AP) - Former British Open champion Alison Nicholas fired a 4-under-par 69 Saturday to take a two-shot lead after two rounds of the Takano Yuri Classic. Nicholas had a 140 total.
Australian Corninne Dibnah fell to a second-place tie with Li Wen-lin of Taiwan when she shot a 75. Li shot her second 71.
Dibnah has won 11 international tournaments, but never has been victorious in her homeland.
LONDON (AP) - Chelsea, Norwich and Nottingham Forest won fifth-round games Saturday and advanced to the quarterfinals of the English Football Association Cup.
Nottingham Forest beat Bristol City 4-1, Norwich beat Notts County 3-0, and Chelsea edged Sheffield United 1-0.
In other FA Cup matches, Portsmouth tied Middlesbrough 1-1 and Sunderland to tied West Ham United 1-1. Both games will be replayed.
