Spring game tickets go on sale to public Feb. 6
If last year is any indication, Nebraska fans aren’t going to want to wait to try to secure football spring game tickets.
Public tickets for April 13′s Red-White Spring Game go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 6, one day after season-ticket holders have the first crack at purchasing.
The NU ticket office is taking steps to try to create more opportunities for the general public to get their hands on tickets after many missed out on the chance completely last year.
The maximum number of tickets available for purchase per account has been lowered from 20 to 10 and the department is increasing the number guaranteed to be available on Feb. 6 to 15,000 from 10,000 one year ago.
Most tickets are $10 and all seats are reserved, though a limited number of $20 club seats are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
UNL students and students eighth grade and younger can get in for free, but must have a ticket.
Tickets can be purchased at Huskers.com, by calling 1-800-8-BIG-RED or in person at the Nebraska Athletics ticket office in the parking garage on Stadium Drive.
Last year, more than 60,000 tickets sold the first day they were on sale and the spring game set an attendance record at 86,818.
