First National Bank Awards Money to Boulder, Lafayette Organizations
First National Bank has awarded about $956,000 in community development grants to 51 organizations in Colorado, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas and South Dakota.
That, according to a news release from the bank, includes four organizations in Boulder and one in Lafayette.
Attention Homes, which provides help to homeless and at-risk youth, will receive $10,000. The Bridge House, a homeless advocacy group, will get $15,000. The I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County, which helps kids prepare for college and careers, will receive $10,000. Intercambio, which helps adult immigrants with their English skills, will get $9,000.
In Lafayette, Foothills United Way, which promotes economic stability through financial coaching and education, will get $10,000.
