— SEX ABUSE SENTENCE: A New Haven man described as “evil” by a judge has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s daughter. SENT: 130 words.

— CHLORINE LEAK-HOTEL: More than 100 people had to be evacuated because of a chlorine leak at a Cromwell hotel pool. Emergency personnel responded Tuesday when a maintenance worker fell ill at the Red Lion Hotel. SENT: 130 words.

RED SOX-YANKEES

Boston can clinch the AL East with a win at Yankee Stadium. Red Sox left-hander David Price (15-6, 3.42) faces struggling Yankees ace Luis Severino (17-8, 3.46). METS-PHILLIES
