LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Derek Fisher scored 30 points Saturday night and Coach Wimp Sanderson continued his tournament magic as Arkansas-Little Rock beat Jacksonville 99-76 in a Sun Belt Tournament quarterfinal.

The Trojans, wearing their road jerseys at home because the Dolphins had a better conference record, take a 16-11 record to Sunday’s semifinals. Jacksonville, seeded third, hopes for a postseason bid with an 18-9 record.

Sanderson won five Southeastern Conference tournament titles in 12 years at Alabama and was a winner in his first Sun Belt tournament game. His teams have won 11 of their last 12 tournament games.

Rod Smith scored 10 points in the first half as the Trojans took a 43-31 lead. Fisher scored 21 points after the break to put the game away.

Smith finished with 17 points, while Muntrelle Dobbins and Terrone Parham each scored 13 and Orlando Donaldson scored 11 for Arkansas-Little Rock. Artemus McClary scored 22 for Jacksonville, which had split its regular-season series with the Trojans. Malloy and Kip Stone each had 13.

Arkansas-Little Rock shot 57 percent from the floor, topping 50 percent for only the fourth time this year and for the first time since Dec. 28. Jacksonville’s 36 percent effort was its second-worst of the year.
