January 22, 2019

STERLING – The YWCA of the Sauk Valley is asking the area’s Latino community how it can better serve them.

For example, would assistance with immigration issues be helpful?

Representatives from the agency will meet with residents and hear their ideas at two public forums, from 10 a.m. to noon Friday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at the YWCA of the Sauk Valley, 412 First Ave.

Snacks and light refreshments will be provided, and an interpreter will be on hand.

Registration is requested, but not required. Call Raquel at 815-625-0333 to sign up or for more information.
