Orchids and Onions: Saturday, December 15, 2018

December 16, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to Val and Michelle doing the Dog Training Classes at the new WAHS building Tuesday nights! Great classes and great instructors. Thank you from all the happy and well behaved pups and their happy owners!

Onions to the concrete team. Carried old curbing over a 100′ past your truck and trailer to dumb it on empty city property. “Well there was already some there.” Really. They did pick it up when caught. What do they do when someone isn’t watching them?

Orchids to a very talented musician, Cameron Marin and the great auctioneer, Scott Taylor, who were part of the Allied Arts Council’s annual charity auction. They are both quite good and extremely entertaining! Thanks, again, Louise

Onions to the unprofessional and lazy bank tellers who don’t count out your money when cashing a check. They use their money dispenser and just hand you a wad of cash. Whatever happened to customer service?

Orchids to the Wednesday lunch bunch at the Eagles. It’s good to be back. The Yooper

Onions to onions for burning my eyes and making me cry.

Onions to the snow birds who stood in line to get free turkey dinners. Those are meant for less fortunate people. I thought winter tippers were bad enough.

Orchids to the person that reminded us that hate corrodes the container it comes in…

Onions to all health care providers, especially doctors who wear scrub clothing in public after they leave the hospital or other medical facility at shift change or lunch time. You have been exposed to the sick and now you are exposing the public. Get a clue and shame on you.

Orchids to the man and woman that helped me when I tripped and fell at the movie theater on Tuesday. Your medical assistance was much appreciated. Connie

Onions to all metal buildings in residential neighborhoods. They look horrible and bring down property values. The city council needs to stop it now.

Orchids to Courtney at Sonora Tacos for excellent service to the ND Group of 25! The Wilens

Onions to all the drivers who have dogs in their laps while driving. See you in court.

Orchids to Mario’s Italian Restaurant for obtaining an Excellent in the kitchen! And for their warm family like attitudes! The food is amazing and the service is great we will be returning soon.
