Meet the Republican candidates for governor
With five candidates seeking the Republican nomination for governor, it could be anyone’s race.
The Republican primary for governor on August 14 could be won with as little as 30,000 votes, if past primary voter turnout is any indication. To help voters decide among the broad field, we are running profiles of each of the Republicans running: Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, Tim Herbst of Trumbull, Steve Obsitnik of Westport, Bob Stefanowski of Madison and David Stemerman of Greenwich.
Profiles of the two Democrats seeking their party’s nomination on August 14, Ned Lamont, of Greenwich, and Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim, were published earlier and can be found our website.
