Prosecutors, state police to host safety forum
CHICOPEE, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts prosecutors and state police will host a forum on community safety issues, including domestic violence and juvenile substance abuse.
Educators from Holyoke Catholic High School in Chicopee will also participate in the event, scheduled for Monday evening at the school.
Hampden District Attorney Mark Mastroianni said the program is aimed at giving parents and other community members information about various safety issues. Some of the topics to be discussed include Internet safety, elder abuse and host liability.
The District Attorney’s Youth Advisory Board will also participate in the program. Members of the Chicopee Police Department will also be available to answer questions.
