2 long-time North Hills municipal managers announce retirement

September 25, 2018

Two long-time municipal managers in the North Hills have announced plans to retire.

McCandless council voted unanimously at its Aug. 27 meeting to accept the retirement notification from town manager Toby Cordek.

Cordek, 66, has served as manager for 35 years.

Earlier this year Franklin Park manger Ambrose Rocca announced plans to retire.

Rocca, 67, has been borough manager for 21 years.

Franklin Park council is in the midst of a search for a new manager and is expected to hire someone before Rocca ends his employment with the borough in December.

Cordek is planning to work until mid-January. A search for his replacement has not yet begun.
