Fatal shooting in Darlington County ruled a homicide, victim identified
DARLINGTON, S.C. – One of the two people who were injured Sunday morning in a shooting at a residence in the 3300 block of Timmonsville Highway has died.
The deceased is Matthew Jackson, 47, of Timmonsville in Darlington County, according to Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee.
Hardee has ruled the death a homicide. Jackson was shot in his home.
Darlington County Sheriff’s deputies and the coroner’s office are investigating.
