FATAL FIRE-COFFEYVILLE — Firefighters in Coffeyville rescued three unconscious people from a house fire but one didn’t survive.

POLICE WINDOW-ROCK — Authorities say a man walked up to the Topeka police headquarters and threw a rock through the glass front door.

3D CROSSWALK — Public works employees in Kansas City, Kansas, are testing what they described as a “three-dimensional crosswalk” in one neighborhood.
