August 25, 2018

NORFOLK - Lutheran High Northeast is set to host its 22nd annual Beef Blast coming up on Sunday.

Principal Dan Sievert says there are a lot of activities planned for the free family friendly event.

“Outside there’s bounce houses, face painting, and balloon animals. Our science teacher Phil Carlson does some neat science activities with the kids. We have a silent auction in our back gym and a live auction that kicks off at 2 P.M. in the main gym. It’ll be a lot of fun with something for everybody.”

Sievert says when you come you can enjoy a beef sandwich meal with a free will donation.

He says the live auction will have some great prize packages and the silent auction will have approximately 250 items available for people to bid on.

Some of the items available for the auctions include a camper rental, gift baskets, husker football and volleyball tickets, Yeti cooler, iPad drawing, and many others.

It will take place Sunday from 10:30 to 3 with all proceeds from the event benefiting the students of Lutheran High Northeast.
