CAPWN looking for volunteers for annual Salvation Army Bell Ringing campaign

SCOTTSBLUFF — CAPWN Family Stabilization in partnership with the Salvation Army will be coordinating the annual Bell Ringing campaign beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving.

This year’s bell ringing will begin on Friday, Nov. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., ending on Dec. 22, at the following locations: Wal-Mart, Main Street Market, Safeway, Monument Mall and Fresh Foods.

CAPWN is looking for individuals, families, church groups and organizations who would donate at least 1 hour of time to support this service. Out of all proceeds collected, 90 percent will stay within the community to assist in emergency services such as: utilities, rent, prescriptions, medical related travel, and much more. A portion of the proceeds collected will also go to local law enforcement agencies to assist in emergency services offered on their behalf.
