Cycling class in Ashland to benefit pregnancy center

ASHLAND — On Saturday, May 11, Brown Dog Yoga invites community members to join them as they host A Cycling Pop-Up Class to benefit Two Hearts Pregnancy Center.

The “Cycling Pop-Up” event will take place from 10 a.m. until noon at the JC Penney Court in the Ashland Town Center mall. Enter through the food court or the main entrance near Kentucky Hall of Fame Cafe. This event will showcase indoor cycling as a safe and effective way to get fit and healthy and support a local charity.

The cost to participate is $20, and all proceeds will benefit Two Hearts Pregnancy Center.

Participants can register by visiting www.browndogyoga.com/ashland-schedule, and choose the May 11 Ashland Pop-Up Cycling Class.

“We are excited to host this event as a way to celebrate the City of Ashland and provide the community with a way to support multiple a local charity while having fun being active and healthy together,” said Katrina Mailloux, owner of Brown Dog Yoga, which offers more than 80 yoga and fitness classes a week in three locations in Huntington, Barboursville and Ashland.

The two 45-minute sessions (10 and 11 a.m.) are for all ages and fitness levels. The sessions will be led by BDY instructors. Participants do not need any prior cycling experience to participate. Limited spots are available (10 per session).
