CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) _ North Carolina lost Tracy Reid to a concussion, but got 21 points from both Chanel Wright and Juana Brown as the seventh-ranked Tar Heels beat winless Furman 91-65 Sunday.

Reid, the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year last season, hit her head on the hardwood floor early in the first half. Despite nausea and head pain, she watched much of the second half from the bench before leaving for further medical examination.

North Carolina (6-1) has been getting 19 points and 10 rebounds per game from Reid.

Jackie Smith had 30 points and 10 rebounds for Furman (0-6), which also got 14 points from Amy King.

Nikki Teasley added 15 points and matched Brown's six assists.

Wright had 15 points in the first half, pacing North Carolina to a commanding 48-30 lead at the break. The Tar Heels pressed the Palladins into 36 turnovers.

But Furman kept the blowout from being worse with better rebounding and by burying 15-of-20 free throws. The Paladins finished with a 44-35 rebounding edge.
