Norfolk Catholic boys basketball looks to rebound from embarrassing loss with two games this week

The Norfolk Catholic boys basketball team is 6-8 on the season after an 81-32 road loss at top ranked in Class ‘C-1’ Wahoo High last Saturday night.

The Knights this season have beaten Omaha Gross, Boone Central/Newman Grove, Winnebago, Arlington, Columbus Scotus, and Crofton while falling to Lincoln Lutheran, Bishop Neumann, Battle Creek, Lutheran High Northeast, West Point-Beemer, Wayne, Pierce, and Wahoo High. Norfolk Catholic is being outscored on average through 14 games 49.6-46.3. They now get ready for a week in which they host 5-9 in Class ‘C-1’ O’Neill tomorrow night and then visit 12-4 fifth ranked in Class ‘D-2’ Humphrey St. Francis on Friday night in a game that can be heard on 106 KIX. On Sportstalk on 106 KIX last Saturday, Knights coach Kevin Manzer talked about the upcoming week.
