PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Dave Loya passed for 333 yards and three touchdowns Saturday as Duquesne won the first bowl game it has attended in 58 years, defeating Wagner 44-20 in the ECAC Division I-AA Bowl.

Loya's 333 yards set a school record for a single game for Duquesne (10-1 overall) and helped win him the most-valuable-player award. Mark Neely caught all three TD passes, including a 90-yarder at the start of the second half.

The Duquesne defense sacked six times _ three times by Mark Rao _ and held the Seahawks to an average 4.7 yards per play compared to the Dukes' 7.6 yards. Joe Neckerman had a game-high 11 tackles.

Jason Miletic of Wagner (8-2) passed for 251 yards but threw no TD passes. Wagner scored touchdowns on Ricardo Sarille's 8-yard run and runs of 1 and 2 yards by Kito Lockwood.

Previously, the Dukes' most recent bowl game was at the Orange Bowl in 1937.
