Clinical Trial Media Announces New CEO and Owner, Cara Brant

November 28, 2018

JERICHO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 28, 2018--Clinical Trial Media, the industry leader in global clinical trial patient recruitment and retention, today announced that Cara Brant has taken full ownership of the company and will become Clinical Trial Media’s chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Brant, who began her career at Clinical Trial Media in 2001, first as a project coordinator and then as a senior project manager, elevated her experience through multiple promotions by leading multi-faceted sales efforts as vice president of business development, vice president of operations and development, and chief operating officer before initially departing the company in 2016. She was the company’s first female C-level executive. Throughout her career she has worked across a variety of categories to manage teams within the clinical trial space, conceptualizing and implementing the most cost-effective strategies to accelerate clinical trial patient recruitment and retention.

“I am thrilled to be at the helm of such a passionate team dedicated to improving patient journeys and changing public perception of trials. Clinical Trial Media’s patient-first mentality, along with its comprehensive recruitment and retention suite, give the company a clear industry advantage,” said Brant. “We look forward to bridging the gap between healthcare, advertising, and technology; and continuing to grow our strong relationships with top pharmaceutical companies and sponsors in 22 countries across the globe.”

Clinical Trial Media’s globally enabled services cut to the primary problem facing clinical trials: potentially life-saving drugs don’t come to market because of a lack of patient participation. Tailored recommendations and innovative ideas help Clinical Trial Media merge metrics from similar studies to develop customized clinical trial enrollment solutions that are site-friendly and patient-centric.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Cara will lead the company to the next phase in its over two-decade history, and cannot wait to see what direction the company grows under her leadership,” said Rob Weinstock, Clinical Trial Media’s senior vice president. “We’ve all gained new knowledge from Cara’s expertise, and her outstanding track record as a 17-year industry innovator will help drive great results for our clients and patients.”

Clinical Trial Media’s services include a full suite of innovative technology solutions and patient-centric services that assist clinical study teams. The company takes a holistic view of each clinical study, carefully identifying the catalysts for success by offering customized products, services, and flexible solutions that are vital to successfully enrolling patients into clinical trials worldwide.
