Brush Skis to Win at Nashoba

WESTFORD -- Chloe Brush of Tyngsboro won her second consecutive race in the Mass. Bay West League slalom competition at Nashoba Valley Ski Area on Tuesday.

Brush, representing the Groton-Dunstable/Tyngsboro co-op team, finished a full 2.56 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Maddie Brey of Newton South. Acton-Boxboro’s Kailah Greenberg was third and Westford’s Morgan Freud finished sixth.

Other locals in the top 25 were Kirsten Forrester (A-B, 11th), Caroline Forrester (A-B, 13th), Audrey Temple (G-D/Tyngs., 15th), Anna Morel-Paletta (Chelmsford, 18th), Sophie Bohenko (Westford, 19th), Allie Bohenko (Westford, 20th), Glenna Beauregard (A-B, 21st), Emily Zhao (A-B, 22nd), Shaynon Peden (Lowell, 23rd) and Colleen Browne (Westford, 24th).

On the boys side, Jack Donaldson of Bromfield and William Thompson of G-D/Tyngsboro finished 1-2 for the second consecutive week, separated by 1.35 seconds. Kyle Murray of Westford was third.

Other locals in the top 25 were Nick Antes (Westford, 7th), Jarrod Beauregard (A-B, 8th), Max Pierce (A-B, 12th), Jamieson Dube (A-B, 15th), Garrett Ackerman (Westford, 16th), Cole Mazzaferro (Westford, 17th), Zack Stryker (Chelmsford, 20th), Matt Wasylyshyn (Westford, 21st), Zach Larochelle (Chelmsford, 23rd), Evan Lindsey (Chelmsford, 24th) and Philip Galati (A-B, 25th).
