Nutcrackers are on parade this holiday season

November 11, 2018

Are the holidays all they’re cracked up to be?

They are if you’re a fan of “The Nutcracker” ballet.

There are at least four “Nutcracker” ballet productions scheduled in Rochester this season, ranging from local dance school productions to the Moscow Ballet’s fully professional company.

Anyone wanting an early start on their “Nutcracker” fix can get that already next weekend, when the Allegro production is presented at Lourdes High School.

Then comes Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker Nov. 28, the Ballet Bake production on Dec. 1, and the Rochester Dance Company production Dec. 8-9, all at Mayo Civic Center.
