Omaha police make 122 arrests for drunken driving during holiday campaign
The Omaha Police Department concluded its participation in the nationwide “You Drink You Drive You Lose” campaign during the Christmas season by announcing 122 arrests for drunk driving.
The campaign, made possible by a $23,750 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, took place from Dec. 14 through New Year’s Day. Officers also made three arrests for drugged driving, a spokesman said.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office announced it had made three arrests for drunk driving from Dec. 14 through Dec. 29.
