LASD board moves ahead with $101 million bond proposal
The Ludington Area School District’s board of education approved a resolution to pursue a $101 million bond proposal that would build a new pre-kindergarten through fifth grade building and renovate the secondary school complex at a special meeting at the administration building on Monday.
The resolution was approved by a vote of 6-0 with Bret Autrey absent from the meeting. The approved resolution moves along the process where the project should not exceed $101 million.
“Although the plan may not be perfect,” said Steve Carlson, board president, “I don’t think you can get perfect.”
