Five Killed When Plane Carrying Man To Hospital Crashes

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) _ A twin-engine propeller plane transporting an ailing man from Zambia to a South African hospital crashed into a mountain in rainy weather, killing all five aboard, officials said Sunday.

The accident happened Saturday night about 8 miles from Lanseria Airport, northwest of Johannesburg, said airport fire chief Raymond Torr.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known, Torr said.
