SEATTLE (AP) _ The Seattle Mariners signed outfielder Lou Frazier to a one-year, $200,000 contract Monday.

The Mariners claimed Frazier off waivers from the Texas Rangers last week. He split last season between the Rangers and Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The switch-hitter hit .260 in 30 games with the Rangers. He pinch hit in 15 games, played left field in 12, was a designated hitter in 11, played center field in three and played second basem in one game.

The Mariners also signed outfielder Dan Rohrmeier and right-hander Bill Wertz to Triple-A contracts. Rohrmeier, who spent last season with Double-A Memphis, also has been invited to spring training camp with the Mariners.

Wertz played for Triple-A Buffalo and Tacoma and Double-A Port City last year.
