Hills’ Restaurant and Lounge hosts 39th Brewers Dinner on Sunday

Hills’ Restaurant and Lounge is hosting its 39th Brewers Dinners on Sunday.

Dinner features four courses, each paired with a beer from a different regional brewery.

Start with lobster pot stickers with a sauce made from the same beer in the first pairing: Citra Charged Dump Truck Summer Bock from Bayern Brewing in Missoula.

The second course is elk-garlic sausage with mango chutney and toasted crostini paired with Juice Box IPA from Trickster Brewing in Coeur d’Alene.

The main entree is marinated beef shoulder tender with oyster mushroom sauce, grilled asparagus with orange-cilantro butter and garlic mashed potatoes. That’s all paired with Topcutter IPA from Bale Breaker Brewing in Yakima.

Dessert includes vanilla ice cream, a chocolate cookie and XXIX Anniversary Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewery in Bend.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. The cost is $55 per person, and tax and gratuity are included.

Seating is limited, so call for reservations.
