Health Strategy Associates’ Joe Paduda Will Explain How Healthcare Providers Price their Services at NCSI

May 21, 2019

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 2019--

The National Council of Self-Insurers (NCSI) asked Joe Paduda to discuss how medical providers price their services to different payer groups at its 2019 Annual Meeting, June 9-12.

The principal of Health Strategy Associates and author of the www.ManagedCareMatters.com blog, Paduda is a nationally recognized expert in medical management. His session “Healthcare Costs – What You Pay and What You Can Do About It” starts at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10.

Paduda will compare what Medicare and Medicaid, group health plans and workers’ compensation payers pay for facility, provider and pharmacy services. He will touch on preferred provider organization discounts versus the actual cost of service, how to secure the best costs and outcomes, and how the trend toward transparency is upending traditional pharmacy benefit management models. Attendees will learn strategies to assess their pricing.

The 2019 NCSI Annual Meeting and Solutions Expo will be held in Orlando, Florida on June 9 through June 12. For more information and to register, please see https://ncsi.memberclicks.net/annual-meeting
