The 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be presented in 15 movie and TV acting categories on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 8-10 p.m. EST at the Shrine Exhibition Center in Los Angeles, airing live to all time zones on TNT and TBS. There’s no host, but presenters will include a host of SAG A-listers. The AP plans full coverage across all formats...


Coverage: A laydown to the main story slugged BC-US--SAG Awards will move by noon EST on Sunday and be updated beginning with arrivals by about 7:30 p.m. Additional updates will move throughout the ceremony, starting with the first presentation at about 8:15 p.m. A NewsAlert for best movie cast, followed by a wrapup story will move as soon as the show ends about 10 p.m. We also plan the following stories on Sunday night, with spontaneous separates as warranted:

— BC-US--SAG Awards-Debbie Reynolds. A separate on Debbie Reynolds’ acceptance of SAG’s life achievement award.

— BC-US--SAG Awards-List. A list of winners in all categories to move at the conclusion of the show.

— BC-US--SAG Awards-Quotes. A brief collection of the best sound bites of the evening.

— Spontaneous separates on merits.

Coverage: Invision will have photographers shooting arrivals. Photos from arrivals should begin moving by 6 p.m. EST. The ceremony starts at 8 p.m. and there will be a photographer shooting the show, a photographer shooting winners in the press room. Photos will be edited and filed live on site throughout the show.

Coverage: Video will have coverage of first arrivals and red carpet fashion on the Global Video Wire (GVW) at 9 p.m. EST Sunday night. Additional arrivals and ceremony highlights will feed at 10:55 p.m. and backstage reaction from winners will transmit at 2 a.m. on Monday. Mediaport customers can expect digital file delivery sooner than those deadlines. Red carpet arrivals will also be streamed live at www.livestream.com/aplive.
