FAIRFIELD — Yamani McCollough scored 19 of her 22 points in the second half as Notre Dame overcame a 16-point, third-quarter deficit to beat Kolbe Cathedral 56-49 in a battle of SWC leaders on Wednesday night.
Ciara Brown added 13 points and seven rebounds for the third-ranked Lancers (17-1, 11-0 SWC), who trailed 35-19 with three minutes remaining in the third quarter.
Brianna Meekins had 16 of her 19 points after halftime and added seven rebounds to lead No. 9 Kolbe (16-2, 9-2) while Gracen Kerr scored 16 points and Shaniya Stancil chipped in with eight boards.
