CHEYENNE, Wyo. _ A Wyoming Highway Patrol investigation found no criminal violations were committed during a verbal encounter between state Treasurer Curt Meier and human resources staff members that left some workers feeling threatened. The incident occurred on March 21 after Meier complained to the state Human Resources Division about not being able to keep employees from leaving for better-compensated jobs in other state agencies, investigators said in the report released Tuesday. SPOKANE, Wash. _ The National Interagency Fire Center is predicting a heavy wildfire season for areas along the West Coast of the United States this summer.
