Review: San Antonio Symphony puts John Williams’ music in new perspective

David HendricksMay 25, 2019

The San Antonio Symphony on Friday night presented a Pops program of John Williams’ movie music, including two “Star Wars” themes, in an uplifting new way by providing context drawn from more serious classical music.

Orchestras everywhere regularly schedule John Williams’ music in programs because of its immense, universal popularity.
