A domestic disturbance call led Rochester police to a teenager wanted in a Sunday robbery.
The 16-year-old was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after police responded to a domestic disturbance call for a dispute between the teenager and his grandmother in the 4700 block of Savannah Drive at about 4:15 p.m.
The teenager is charged with first-degree aggravated robbery and is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Olmsted County.
He was wanted for his alleged role in a Sunday robbery in which a 28-year-old man reported being beaten and almost run over at the Holiday gas station near the government center at about 5:45 p.m.
The man told police he knew the people who approached him for money. He also said the suspects had a knife and a semi-automatic handgun, beat him and then tried to run him over in the parking lot behind the gas station.
