November 21, 2018

Tickets for Maranatha Baptist University’s production of “A Christmas Carol” are now available to purchase.

“A Christmas Carol” will run Nov. 29-30 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 1 at 2 and 7 p.m. in the university gymnasium, 745 W. Main St.

The play once again features MBU professor and humanities department chairman, Dr. Jeff Miller, as Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly protagonist. In an attempt to save Scrooge from his own selfish ways, a series of other-worldly figures visit him to show how his uncharitable actions have deeply impacted his life. As Scrooge’s past, present and future unfold before his eyes, he will be forced to examine his perception of what is truly valuable.

Director Christina Miller leads a cast of over 50 actors in her own adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and $8.50 for youths ages 6-18. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted. The public may purchase tickets at mbu.tix.com or by calling 920-206-2370.
