Ludington man sentenced on multiple criminal sexual conduct charges
Ray Thomas Kelly Sr., 66, 203 S. Washington Ave., Apt. 5, Ludington, was sentenced in 51st Circuit Court Tuesday to 11 years and three months minimum to 30 years maximum in prison on two counts of criminal sexual conduct second degree and one count of criminal sexual conduct first degree with a person under the age of 13.
As part of the plea agreement, Kelly has two additional charges of criminal sexual conduct first degree dismissed.
According to the Ludington Police Department, the victim in the case was an 8-year-old child.
The incidents allegedly occurred between April 22 and July 5 of this year in the 200 block of South Washington Avenue and the 5400 block of West Johnson Road in Pere Marquette Township.
Kelly admitted to the court during his final conference hearing that he did commit sexual penetration with his finger at both locations in reference to each of the three charges he plead guilty to.
Mason County Prosecutor Paul Spaniola read from the police report to the court that Kelly is related to the victim.
