DALLAS — Authorities in North Texas have released a video showing an off-duty white police officer being booked into jail after she was arrested in the slaying of a black neighbor in his apartment. ARKANSAS CORRUPTION-COLLEGE

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas' attorney general is considering a request to sue a private Christian college to reclaim at least $600,000 of kickback-tainted grants the college received from state funds. 250 words.

TIMBER MILL-ARKANSAS — The Arkansas Economic Development Commission has approved a bond guarantee for a Texas investing group to reopen a timber mill in southwest Arkansas which is expected to create about 60 jobs.

PINE BLUFF SCHOOLS — The Arkansas Board of Education has unanimously voted for the state to take control of the Pine Bluff School District after declaring it fiscally distressed and unlikely to have enough money to operate by the end of the school year.
