UAW Reports Deal at 4 GM Plants
FLINT, Mich. (AP) _ General Motors Corp. and the United Auto Workers have resolved disputes at two strike-bound parts plants in Flint and two other locations, a UAW official said today.
However, some work still remains to resolve pending disputes at two brake plants in Dayton, Ohio.
UAW Vice President Richard Shoemaker said late this morning that there still was work to be done.
``We want to be sure we have it all done before we have a news conference,″ he said.
