A famed ukulele musician is returning to the city to perform with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic on Saturday.

“An Evening with Jake Shimabukuro” is part of the Philharmonic’s pops series. Shimabukuro previously performed with the orchestra in 2016 and has appeared at C2G Music Hall. His music spans genres from jazz and funk to folk and classical.

Shimabukuro, who grew up in Hawaii, started playing the ukulele at age 4. His latest album, “The Greatest Day,” was released in August.
